Susan S. Quist

Founder & Managing Partner

Susan is a seasoned business executive with a background in labor & employment law, commercial / P&L operations and corporate administration. For the last 20+ years, she has worked in multiple jurisdictions across Africa, the Middle East, the US and different industries and fields.

A US-trained attorney, Susan has worked with multinationals and Fortune 200 companies. Susan started out as a labor lawyer advising clients on the full spectrum of human resource operations and the employee value chain. Susan’s skillset includes developing, advising and implementing organizational structures, policies, processes and procedures across attraction, talent development, performance management, retention, remuneration, reward, and recognition. She has developed and implemented change management strategies and culture realignment programs. 

In addition to her experience in human capital operations, Susan has leveraged her strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and people development skills and led business turnaround initiatives.

She implemented projects that minimized business risk by establishing a strong control and compliance environments and enterprise risk management to improve and maximize profitability and enhance the business’ brand and reputation. Susan served on the advisory boards of various entities where she worked actively and directly with the entities’ management teams to deliver improved business results.

Susan’s demonstrated competencies in business turnaround, enterprise risk management, operational controls improvement and corporate governance resulted in her taking on a role leading a multi-functional shared services team of 100+ employees. She then went on to serve as Managing Director of a multi million-dollar business which sold and manufactured engine related components and ancillaries across Africa and the Middle East.

Susan has a Juris Doctorate from Tulane University and a Bachelors of Arts (BA) in Government, cum laude, with an interdisciplinary in International Relations from Lawrence University.
